Love at first sight The end of Act I of William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, the two characters' finally meet at the Capulet feast in Act I.5. Before this Romeo was going through a little heartbreak with his old love Rosaline. His cousin Benvolio is the only reason he went to the feast so that he would stop sobbing about Rosaline. Romeo is feeling heartbroken and sad that he has meet the love of his life and it just went all away because of who she is. My reaction to how I think Romeo is feeling is that I feel bad for him because he though he meets the love of his life but soon comes to realize that he can't be with her and that he lost the one girl he truly loved.
